ABOUT:

“I wrote this as a theme song for a superhero named Spacecase that I created freshman year of high school. He looked kind of like Daredevil and fought the Evil Shoebox Head. I sketched these cartoon characters in the margins of my spiral-bound notebooks in Mr. Swartz’s algebra class. At the time I was playing guitar in a surf band and this song definitely has traces of sand, salt and sex wax. I never got around to figuring out if they had superpowers or sidekicks or henchmen because after making the theme song I just kept making more music”
