“When I was 22, I broke up with my girlfriend of almost a year. About a week later I regretted my decision but it was too late. My ex-girlfriend had moved on and was happier with someone else. Writing this song was cathartic for me and still reminds me to be careful not only with other people’s hearts but also my own.”

~ Ben

Can’t eat or sleep
My mind is deep
In sad thoughts
Seems like they’re all I got
I let you go
Little did I know
You’d hook up with your best friend
And then I felt the pain all over again
Now all the nights spent watching tv at your place
And all the kisses that I planted on your neck and your face
Are just a chapter in the past
We were too different to make it last
You have moved on so I wrote this song
Now I can move on too
And not regret the time I spent with you
